At the Obidimma Okobi Memorial Foundation, we want to help children throughout our Baltimore & beyond. The vision of our foundation in Baltimore, MD, is to foster youth empowerment and educational growth to broaden the horizons of children in the community.
Obidimma Okobi was a principal who was very much involved in diversity issues, empowerment for the kids, staff development, and ensuring children were exposed to the best instructional methodologies. We want to carry on her legacy by working toward the same goals of helping students succeed.
We are doing what it takes to help kids of all ages succeed academically. To achieve this, we are looking to collaborate with schools and youth groups as well as provide sources of ongoing assistance for teachers. We especially want to align ourselves with like-minded institutions and associations that sponsor after-school programs, workshops, field trips, speaking engagements, tutoring, and other kid-friendly activities.
Two organizations we have partnered with include the Sheldon Calvary Camp in Conneaut, Ohio, and City Neighbors Hamilton. We’d love to work with you too. If you would like to partner with our foundation, feel free to contact us.
Continuing Obidimma Okobi’s mission to create awareness in Baltimore area students of the educational options they can take advantage of. Helping to provide enrichment in educational activities and knowledge to expand their horizon beyond their environment.
